Overview
Rochester Grammar School is a grammar school for the education of girls between the ages of 11 and 18, and has Academy status. Pupils are expected to perform highly throughout the school. There are over 1,000 pupils in the school with nearly 300 in the Sixth Form. The school was judged as ‘Outstanding’ back in 2008 when it was last inspected by Ofsted. The RGS is both a National Support School and a National Teaching School with the National College of Teaching and Leadership.
