Sir Thomas Rich’s School is a selective boys’ school, and to gain entry into Year 7 students must sit the admissions test. The school is an Academy and as such, the governing body of the school is the admissions authority. Sir Thomas Rich’s School has been awarded Specialist College status in three areas (Languages, Science, Leading Edge Mentor School).
