World Book Day

Yes...World Book day is around the corner – Thursday 7th March to be exact and you have probably already received the notification from your child’s school about it being a non-uniform day and all that.

The big question is.....what character is it going to be this year? Have you run out of ideas, or just need some inspiration. The truth is, for most parents, these sort of things tend to slip through the cracks because of how busy we tend to get during the week, with other things. Then come a day or two before, we begin to dig out the costume from last year, to see if our child can get away with it for another year. Only to find out, they’ve outgrown it, or we decide to try our hand at some last minute DIY sessions, and we all know how that normally turns out.

But if you haven’t got your child’s costume just yet, or are looking for some inspiration, not to worry......Leaders are Readers to the rescue!

Have a look at some of the links we have put together for your perusal. Mind you, there might still be some days to go, but the week does fly (as do the items) - so get your skates on!
