The King John School

Overview

The King John School, often abbreviated to King John, is a secondary Academy school with a Sixth Form in South Benfleet, Essex. It is a partially selective school, with up to 15% of the published admissions limit being allocated according to the results of a test of general ability, those scoring higher being awarded priority of entry. The school was last Ofsted inspected in 2013 and was graded as ‘Outstanding’ in all four categories. It has over 2,000 pupils on roll, with over 300 in the Sixth Form.
